Agricultural Economics (AGEC) Leading in the Field

Learn about the globalization of agriculture systems, new technologies, applied economics and economic logic to develop the technical skills needed to analyze and communicate about agriculture, food, management and resource issues. Graduates are trained for a wide variety of jobs in agricultural and non-agricultural businesses, firms and agencies in both the public and private sectors.

Biomedical Sciences (BIMS) Just What the Doctor Ordered

Biomedical Sciences is a broad field of applied biology that is directed toward understanding health and disease. The program's mission is to educate students who will create a healthier future for humans and animals through the medical professions, biomedical innovation and discovery, global service and outreach.

The Department of Construction Science at Texas A&M's programs integrate principles of architecture, technology, engineering, business and project management. Students learn about building systems, materials and methods of construction, scheduling, cost estimating, construction management, construction law and business/labor relations.

The Bachelor of Science in Education includes a teacher certification in Middle Grades 4-8 Math/Science. A series of field-based programs and classroom work prepare students to make a difference in their classrooms and communities.

Human Resource Development (HRD) Getting the Job Done

The Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Development (HRD) focuses on the process of improving learning and performance in individual, group, and organization contexts for both the private and public sectors. The degree provides the knowledge and skills to succeed in a variety of roles for business, industry and education.

Interdisciplinary Engineering (ITDE) Engineering, Powered by You

The Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Engineering program allows students to take a wide range of courses that are applied to many fields such as Hardware Systems and Controls, areas that may not be provided in a traditional department degree program.

Maritime Business Administration (MARA) Manage Global Logistics and Supply Chains

Texas A&M University at Galveston's Maritime Business Administration program is also available in McAllen, where students can learn from industry experts and gain a deep understanding of the skills needed to succeed in a variety of careers, including port administration, shipping operations, accounting or logistics.

The Multidisciplinary Engineering Technology program emphasizes mechatronics, a field that includes a combination of mechanical, electrical, communications, control and computer systems.

Nursing (Traditional BSN) Leading Through Selfless Service

The Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is dedicated to educating and producing nurses prepared to lead within the profession while advancing nursing research and increasing outreach initiatives to positively impact the health care landscape.

Public Health (BSPH) Stronger Communities, Healthy People - Our Tradition

The Public Health program is based on a philosophy of health promotion and disease prevention, to improve the quality of life of individuals, families, and communities. Graduates will be able to assess factors influencing health in populations as well as plan, design, implement, and successfully manage effective health care programs and interventions.

Aggie Pharmacy Technician Program

The Texas A&M University Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy's Aggie Pharmacy Technician Program (PTP) was established in 2023 to help address the pharmacy technician shortage in Texas. The program was developed to meet the gold standard accreditation requirements of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
