Bachelor of Science in Education - Certification in Middle Grades 4-8 Math/Science (EDUC)

Make a Difference

The Education program is a new addition to the Higher Education Center at McAllen. Education students receive classroom experience through student-teaching and in-person, online and hybrid courses from the HECM and the Texas A&M campus in College Station. The School of Education and Human Development also offers career fairs for students to meet recruiters across Texas, giving them a head start at finding a job after graduation. This degree will benefit schools in the Rio Grande Valley by supporting underperforming subjects such as mathematics and science at critical stages in K-12.
