Industry Experience

  • Liana V. Andreasen was born in Romania, where she finished her Bachelor's in English. Her love of American Literature brought her to the United States in 1995, where she received an English MA from Salisbury University, MD, and a PhD in literary theory from Binghamton University, NY. She started working at South Texas College in the early 2000s and has enjoyed living in the Rio Grande Valley ever since. She recently joined the Texas A&M University Higher Education Center at McAllen as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and teaches writing. She loves writing (with academic and literary publications), and often attends many conferences in both fields. She also enjoys acting, horseback riding, painting, and gardening in her spare time.
