Xuan Wang is an Instructional Associate Professor at the Texas A&M University Higher Education Center at McAllen. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Oklahoma Christian University, a Master in Business Administration from The University of Texas-Dallas (UTD), and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Texas A&M University. Xuan's main duties include teaching chemistry courses for all majors and mentoring undergraduate and junior faculty members.
Xuan graduated from UTD with an Executive Education Certificate in Organizational Consulting in 2022 and the Executive and Professional Coaching Certificate program in 2024. Xuan also completed the Certificate of Instructional Excellence for Student Success from the National Association of System Head & Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) in 2020, the ACUE Inclusive Teaching for Equitable Learning Course in 2022, and the Texas A&M University Mentoring Academy in 2023. Meanwhile, Xuan published scholarly works evidenced by 27 peer-reviewed papers, books, and book chapters and more than 40 independent reviews of scientific journals, instructional materials, and grant proposals.
Her career mission is to empower learners at all levels to reach their full potential through evidence-based teaching, mentoring, researching, consulting, and coaching.
