Alexis (Alex) Romero is the Chemistry Laboratory Technician II at the Texas A&M University Higher Education Center at McAllen. Alex, a Rio Grande Valley native, graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2021. He most recently worked at the Department of Plant Pathology in College Station, Texas as an undergraduate research assistant. Prior to that, he served as a Medical Assistant at MyCare Medical Group for two years, assisting medical doctors, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in providing quality patient care. In his spare time, Alex enjoys skate-boarding and spending time with his wife Juliana and cats Sasuke and Donnie.
