Industry Experience

  • Jacob Martin '18 is an Assistant Financial Manager with Student Business Services at the Texas A&M University Higher Education Center in McAllen. He is a proud former student of Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a Minor in Business Administration.

    Before joining the HECM, Jacob spent nearly four years at Texas A&M University – San Antonio, excelling in multiple roles within the Division of Business Affairs. His dedication and expertise led him to serve as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Business Affairs & Chief Financial Officer for over three years. He also gained valuable experience as a graduate assistant at Louisiana State University’s Department of University Recreation while earning his Master’s in Public Administration.

    Outside of work, Jacob enjoys weightlifting, playing golf, and spending quality time with his friends and family.
