Campus Parking

Student Parking

All students must obtain a parking permit for each vehicle or motorcycle that will be parked on Texas A&M property. A parking permit does not guarantee a parking space, but does authorize parking in designated areas. Students planning to park on campus must obtain a FREE parking permit by visiting the Safety and Security Office, located in Room 127.

Be sure to bring the make, model and license plate number for the vehicle you will be driving to campus with you when you visit the Safety and Security office. Also, please bring your Texas A&M University student ID card or a valid driver license to present when purchasing a parking permit.

Visitor Parking

There are designated parking spots for campus visitors. Whenever possible, visitors are encouraged to contact the department they wish to visit to confirm parking arrangements before arriving to campus.

Building Access

Students may enter the Higher Education Center at McAllen after hours by using the Aggie Card issued individually to all faculty, staff and students.
